FPA stands with DA in the celebration of the World Food Day 2023
Quezon City | October 17, 2023 – The Fertilizer and Pesticide Authority (FPA) strongly supported the Department of Agriculture’s annual World Food Day Celebration held on October 16, 2023, at Liwasang Aurora, Quezon City Circle.
The Agency participated in the parade of colors led by the Executive Director, Ms. Julieta B. Lansangan. Meanwhile, Mr. Ronald Ponce from the Finance and Administrative Division (FAD) proudly carried the Agency’s flag during the parade, symbolizing the Agency’s commitment to the cause.
This year’s theme – “Water is Life, Water is Food. Leave No One Behind,” emphasized the role of water in agriculture and the mission to ensure that everyone has access to sufficient and nutritious food.
The FPA’s enthusiastic involvement illustrated its dedication to these principles and the global effort to achieve food security.
A total of fifty (50) employees from FPA attended the said event. ###
