December 12, 2023 | Quezon City \u2013 <\/strong>To enhance the Authority\u2019s service delivery mechanisms for the satisfaction of citizens and clients, the Fertilizer and Pesticide Authority (FPA) conducted a three-day Seminar-Workshop on the Review and Revision of its Citizen\u2019s Charter on December 4-6, 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a key regulatory body overseeing the country’s fertilizer and pesticide industry, the agency recognized the importance of refining its Citizen\u2019s Charter in addressing the evolving needs of stakeholders. In the pursuit of this objective, the activity was conducted to align the Authority\u2019s internal and external processes with the principles outlined in the Anti-Red Tape Act (ARTA) reengineering manual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Executive Director Julieta B. Lansangan shared that the workshop will allow the agency to craft a simpler and more responsive Citizen\u2019s Charter in line with the clients\u2019 feedback and observations from the in-house experts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLet us set aside first our point of view and focus on the needs of our clients and what would make their transaction with us easier and faster.\u201d Dir. Lansangan said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Atty. May Angeli M. Estolas and Mr. Joshua T. Bruno, from the Compliance Monitoring and Evaluation Office (CMEO) of the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA), shared their evaluation of the existing FPA Citizen\u2019s Charter and emphasized on the areas needing improvements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the discussion, the various divisions\/units engaged in in-depth discussions, knowledge sharing, and collaboration, focusing on process optimization, adopting best practices, and refining process flows, to foster a culture of efficiency and citizen-centric service delivery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, the activity was held while consciously following ARTA\u2019s Memorandum Circular No. 2019-002 or the Guidelines on the Implementation of the Citizen\u2019s Charter. ###<\/p>\n\n\n\n
