As reported by International Veterinary &amp; Agrochemical (IVA) Inc. , fake <strong><em>DACONIL 720 SC<\/em><\/strong> products were found circulating in the market.&nbsp; For reference, the photos of the packaging of the original <em>vis-a-vis<\/em> the fake product are hereto attached as <strong>Annex \u201cA\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Section 8 of Presidential Decree No. 1144 (P.D. No. 1144) states that it shall be unlawful for any handler of pesticides, fertilizer, and other agricultural chemicals or for any farmers, planter or end-user of the same as the case may be:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>To engage in any form of production, importation, distribution, storage and sale in commercial quantities without securing from the FPA a license therefor;<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>( c ) <\/em><em>To deal in pesticides and\/or fertilizers which have not been previously registered with FPA, or which registration has expired or has been suspended or revoked;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>(d) To adulterate pesticides formulation and fertilizer grade;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>(f) To mislable or make claims which differ in substance from the representation made in connection with a product\u2019s registration or from its actual effectiveness; and<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Considering that fake product has not gone through the evaluation process of FPA, the agency cannot assure its quality and safety. Hence, all concerned establishments are warned not to distribute, advertise, or sell the aforementioned product, otherwise, appropriate penalties and sanctions shall be strictly imposed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To verify if a certain product is registered with FPA, the list of the registered products can be accessed through this link: <a href=\"https:\/\/mirrored.fpa-gov.ph\/resources\/reports\/registered-products\/\">https:\/\/mirrored.fpa-gov.ph\/resources\/reports\/registered-products<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All FPA\u2019s Regional and Provincial Personnel, Law Enforcement Agencies, and Local Government Units are requested to ensure that this product is not sold or made available in the market or areas of jurisdiction.
